With a voice like Susan Tedeschi, a soul like Janis Joplin and the sultriness of Norah Jones and Alicia Keys, new vocalist Sara Thompson is already making her mark on the local music scene. Known for her passion, vocal and song versatility and powerful 6’ foot stage presence she performs a mix of blues, blues rock, soul, R&B, pop/country and contemporary rock. Whether performing acoustically as a duo or rocking out with a full electric band, she has never ceased to impress, inspire and all out entertain a crowd of any size.

Sara has already had the opportunity to sing alongside Rockabilly legend Sleepy LaBeef at Johnny D’s in Somerville and was featured alongside national acts such as Josh Gracin, Eddie Money and Peter Noone. Sara also has had the privilege of being invited to participate in the prestigious Coral Ciudad de Granada of Spain, a classical choir. During her participation she toured locally and was even invited to perform for the Arch Bishop of Granada.

At the present time, Sara continues with her career as an aspiring blues/contemporary artist and enjoys performing with various musicians. Recently, this has included the James Montgomery Blues Band, the Phil Pemberton Band (frontman for Roomful of Blues) alongside the extremely talented keyboardist Ron Levy, who has played alongside blues royalty BB King and Albert King. She is currently booking as an acoustic duo and trio playing keyboard, alongside established guitar players in the Boston area and as a full, 5 - piece band.
